Did you ever think that the most important thing in your life is… your pillow?

That’s a seriously dumb question, even for a radio ad, but I was uniquely placed to answer it today. ( Tired yet? )

No specific amounts for an old family recipe....  perfect for inviting old family and new.
( Now I'm Hungry... )

Chop three red apples.
Chop about three ounces walnuts.
Add about five ounces sweet red wine.
Add cinnamon as desired.
Adjust any ingredient to taste...  Times five for the holiday guests.

Refrigerate about an hour.

Makes a great desert or any-time snack.
Pardon me, i'm going to add some more wine. (Hic)

My dear friend's younger sister passed away last week.
She would have been thirty six next month.

The last five days, I was busy with condolence calls and helping out.
Time to start writing again.

It has cheese!  And vegetables!  That means its healthy, right?  It just flies off hte platter so fast you'd think it's junk food.

I love the long flat lasagna noodles.  They hold the stuffing so well, and aremuch easier to work with than stuffing giant shells.

My neighborhood is moderately wrecked by Hurricane Sandy.  Let's up the ante by throwing eggs at the windows!
